Talk: Jürgen Stephan and William Sherman with Anthony Hose

Former CEO of the Alfred Toepfer company in Hamburg, Jürgen Stephan talks about post WW2 Germany, how Hamburg became the wealthiest town in West Germany and the resuscitation of cultural life there including the rebuilding of the opera house as a priority.

William Sherman was CFO of Laura Ashley in mid-Wales after spending 3 years working in Germany.

Festival founder Anthony Hose, studied in Munich, worked in the Bremen Opera and has conducted orchestras in Berlin, Koblenz and Munich.
