Paula Fan discusses tonight’s premiere with composer Gareth Olubunmi Hughes. The exciting Welsh composer has made 4 settings from the poet  Llŷr Gwyn Lewis who won the Chair at Eisteddfod yr Urdd (2010) with his volume ‘Tonnau’.

Mr Mendelssohn Comes to Tea!

In 1829 Mendelssohn befriended the Taylor family in Rhydymwyn, returning often to visit them there and in London. This short musical play features pianist Paula Fan as your hostess, Anne Taylor, and baritone Jeremy Huw Williams as Mendelssohn, her honoured guest.
